Partnering for Homeless Solutions: A Community Effort

Concerns about the growing number of homeless individuals and families in Garland reached a critical point in 2018, when the community’s resources became overwhelmed. As a result, a loose-knit group of community partners came together to find workable solutions--to support the existing efforts among the homeless, to reduce friction between the homeless and the community, and to expand essential services.  

Like meshing gears, the Garland community is increasingly working together to make our city run more smoothly in interactions with the homeless. This website is one result.
